System administrators configuring carryover rules for entitlements.
Overview
This guide explains how to set up manual or automatic carryover for entitlement pots (e.g., Holiday) at the Template level, which overrides Global settings.
How Carryover Configuration Works
Carryover rules let employees retain unused entitlement days into the next year. You can:
- Allow manual or automatic carryover.
- Set expiry dates or restrict carryover to absences spanning year-end.
- Limit the maximum days carried over.
Why use it?
To comply with:
✔ Company policies
✔ Local labor laws
While balancing flexibility and control.
