Created for: System Administrators

Overview

This guide explains how to set up Additional Email Notifications for a specific user, ensuring the intended recipient(s) receive copies of the specific notifications configured.

How It Works

Additional email notifications allow you to:

  • Send duplicate alerts to extra email addresses (e.g., personal emails, team admins).
  • Trigger notifications for authorisable records, password changes, or user detail updates.

Use case: A manager wants their PA to receive copies of a specific reportees' absence request notifications.

How to Set Up

  1. Go to Admin > Users > Users.
  2. Search for the user and click Edit.

  4. Select a Notification Type:
    1. Authorisable Record (e.g., absence requests).
      1. Select a record type - Planned, Unplanned, Overtime, or Transfer
      2. Select a specific record type - f.e if you selected Unplanned record type, you can select f.e Sickness, Unauthorised Absence, etc)
      3. Select a status - you can select multiple here, between pending, authorised, declined, cancellation pending, and cancelled
      4. Enter the recipient's email address
    2. Password Change.
      1. Enter the recipient's email address that should receive a notification when this specific user changes their password
    3. Details Change (user record updates).

  5. Click "Save" at the top of the page.
