Changing a Users authorisation template

To modify a user's Authorisation Template in e-days, follow the step-by-step guide below. This process is recommended to ensure proper authorisation management, especially when the user's template requires updating. Ensure that there are no pending requests for the user before making changes.

  1. Navigate to the User Section:

    • Go to: Admin > Users > Users.
  2. Locate the User:

    • Find the user whose Authorisation Template you need to change and click 'Edit' on their row.
  3. Access the User Profile:

    • You will now be on the Profile page of the selected user. Scroll down to the section called Authorisers.
  4. Change the Authorisation Template:

    • Click the blue Change Template button. Read the message that appears, then press the OK button.
Note: It is highly recommended that the user has no pending requests in e-days before changing their Authorisation Template.
  5. Select a New Template:

    • Click on the current value for the Authorisation Template setting and choose the new template from the list.
  6. Assign Approvers:

    • Assign the appropriate approvers for each step in the new authorisation template.
  7. Save Changes:

    • Press the orange Save Record button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Note: You must have Users permission assigned to your e-days role in order to perform this task.
